Black Desert Coming to Russia, Still No Plans to Head West

Black Desert Heads to Russia, Still No Western Release Date

MMO fans pining for Korean developer Pearl Abyss to bring its sandbox MMO Black Desert to the West received some good news recently but not exactly what they wanted.

As first reported by fan site Black-Desert.com, the game has secured a Russian publisher. The website translated an interview the developer gave to Goha.ru.

Pearl Abyss states in the interview that Russia will be getting the game much earlier than Europe or the West, which at least reconfirms that the developer hasn’t given up on finding additional publishers for the game.

Black Desert joins Archeage as the latest Korean MMO to test the waters in Russia before attempting to move elsewhere.
